UAB’s cross country team turned in season-best performances throughout its lineup Saturday as the Blazers competed in the Commodore Classic.

The UAB cross country team will run in its second meet of the 2015 season this weekend when the Blazers take part in the Commodore Classic. The meet will be held Saturday, Sept. 19 at 9:00 a.m. in Nashville, Tenn.

A pair of top 25 individual finishes highlighted UAB cross country's showing Saturday in the Blazers' season-opening meet at the Belmont Opener.

The UAB cross country team will open its 2015 season this weekend when the Blazers travel to Nashville, Tenn. to participate in the Belmont Opener. The meet is scheduled to begin Saturday at 9 a.m. CT.

The UAB cross country announced its 2015 schedule on Tuesday with the season-opening meet just over two weeks away.

The 2014 UAB cross country team was named an All-Academic team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Wednesday.
