Rice senior thrower Claire Uke won her third individual shot put title of the indoor season with a winning throw of 16.76m (55-0) on the second day of the Texas A&M Invitational.

Rice senior vaulter Chris Pillow highlighted day two at the Texas A&M Invitational by winning the pole vault with a personal best mark (indoor or outdoor) of 5.51m (18-1.00) Saturday afternoon at the Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium.
