The UTEP men's track and field team cracked the top 25 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for the first time in 2015. The Miners moved up seven spots from last week's ranking to the 21st position.

Louisiana Tech's women's 4x100m relay squad was edged by host LSU and finished second, running the 15th-fastest time in the country this year, at the LSU Alumni Gold meet at Bernie Moore Track Stadium Saturday.

Freshman Jorge Montes broke the East Carolina school record in the men's 5,000-meter run at the Virginia Challenge and Leah Lott won the women's long jump as the Pirates turned in another strong showing over the weekend.

The Marshall track and field team was in two places at once this weekend, but that didn't stop the squad from posting impressive marks and breaking school records.

The University of Tulsa track and field team wrapped up a weekend busy weekend at both the Michael Johnson Classic at Clyde Hart Track & Field Stadium at Baylor University, and at the Mt. Sac Relays at Hilmer Lodge Stadium, in Walnut, California.

North Texas track and field was busy this weekend, with distance taking on two meets in California and other team members competing at the John Jacobs Invitational in Oklahoma.
