Rice redshirt senior Will Firth closed out his cross country career with an 18th place finish at Friday’s NCAA South Central Regional Championship at the Dale Watts XC Course hosted by Texas A&M.

The East Carolina men’s and women’s cross country squads wrapped up their 2015 campaigns Friday at the NCAA Southeast Regional. The meet was hosted by the University of Virginia at Panorama Farms in Earlysville, Va.

Lucy Crookes finished in 41st place to lead UAB at the NCAA South Regional Championships Friday morning from the Harry Pritchett Running Park.

Rice junior Cali Roper earned her second consecutive NCAA Championship berth with a third place finish at Friday’s NCAA South Central Regional Championship at the Dale Watts XC Course hosted by Texas A&M.

UTEP’s Anthony Rotich was voted to the Conference USA Cross Country All-Academic team on Friday morning. Rotich was awarded for his work ethic in the classroom and exceptional athletic ability.
