Freshman sensation Jonah Koech notched the fastest mile in the NCAA this year on Saturday at day two of the Cherry & Silver Invitational. Koech crossed the finish line with an original blistering time of 4:05.26 and it was converted to a time of 3:59.92 due to Albuquerque’s elevation. Koech has now won both mile races he has run this year.
