IRVING, Texas - East Carolina, Louisiana Tech and UTSA student-athletes claimed C-USA Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors this week. East Carolina's Tynita Butts recorded a national best in the high jump to earn Field Athlete of the Meet honors at the prestigious Penn Relays. UTSA's Richard Garrett, Jr. earned the honor for the third time this season with another outstanding performance in the shot put and discus. Louisiana Tech's Trey Hadnot posted career-best times in the 100m and 200m to share the weekly honor.
