Three weeks after solid efforts at the McNeese State Cowboy Stampede, including a first-place finish by the Tulane women's squad, both the men's and women's Green Wave cross country teams came up short in their quest to finish strong going into the postseason as each team placed 19th at the Crimson Classic in Tuscaloosa, Ala., on Friday evening.
