Conference USA has named Bryce Robinson of Tulsa and UAB's Eli Kirk its first Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week for the 2014 season. Kirk won the 3,000 meters with the nation's second-best time of 9:14.10, breaking her own school record as well as the Birmingham CrossPlex record. Robinson clocked a pair of NCAA Top 10 times during opening weekend action at the Arkansas Invitational. He recorded a school-record time of 20.94 in the 200m, which ranks second in the nation. Robinson also won the 60m and his prelim time of 6.72 seconds is tied for the ninth fastest in the NCAA.
