DENTON - North Texas Athletic Hall of Famer and one of the most decorated track coaches in the state of Texas Max Goldsmith passed away on Friday at the age of 91. Goldsmith was elected to the North Texas Athletic Hall of Fame in 1991 and was a member of the committee for years following his election.
